Feels like we kinda got robbed with this game. The game itself is decent, but when compared to previous games, specifically AC Odyssey, it doesn’t even hold a flame. Which is a bummer because I was super looking forward to it. The game feels like a DLC to Valhalla, not a stand alone game. It’s small. The forty thieves dlc was literally two additional quests. You can complete it in 10 minutes. The maps are small. 3/4 of the map is wilderness and there is nothing to do in it. The other 1/4 is the city, which is cool but it’s nice to have the changes in scenery that we got in the other games. They added some cool new features but also removed others that were fun. No more archery, no more hunting or fishing, no more customizing gear. The skill tree is pretty basic small too and you can only get skills by completing main quests. So no leveling up which is lame. All in all it just feels like we got robbed. Not because I had to pay for it. That’s whatever. But because they raised the standards so high with the last three games just to let this one fall so far below that standard. The graphics are great. But the game itself is a huge bummer.
