The book is overall good and a brilliant thriller mixed with romance. The ending was suspense but also a bit confusing.
Spoiler!!!
The fact that Jeremy hid the truth about attempting to kill Verity twice, before her accident, from Lowen, was disturbing.
Again, he didn't tell Lowen that he already knew about the manuscript and about Verity killing his daughter which made Jeremy look stupid as well as dishonest.
Lastly I didn't like the part where Lowen flushed the letter unsteady of confronting Jeremy about the truths he knew yet kept them from her.
So, neither was Jeremy completely honest with Lowen and vise versa. I think should have told each other all the things they knew about Verity before closing her chapter forever and starting afresh.
Apart from these, I loved the book.
