For what it is - I love this show. I too have been watching since the beginning. You can see the production influence as the seasons go on. (Less Authentic), but I still (so far) enjoy it. I think it's way cool that Mandy will soon be the Captain of a crab boat AND that they had a woman greenhorn this season! I also think it's very interesting that a new species of crab (golden) is coming to the audience's attention. It's a bummer that the authenticity is waning. Hopefully, it will come back more like a documentary than a polished reality show.

I love this show. So much chemistry between characters. Jamie Clayton is amazing. I hope some other entity picks this up and is able to get all the original actors onboard.

I'm perplexed by those impacted by the historical inaccuracy. The show's intro clearly admits "occasionally based on true events". I love his dark, racy, extreme comedy. Elle Fanning is a delight and the supporting cast is strong.
