The parts of where Arthur Fleck is THE JOKER the movie shines, but the film throws in too many musical segments that just rip the tone apart.
It feels like the film was made by two different people with two different ideas, the one who kept the first movie in mind of the infamous character Joaquin Phoenix embodied in the first film leading to the viewers wanting more joker and the other. The one who wanted to capitalize on Lady Gaga and attempt to level up the film but forgetting what made the first film great.
