The movie was great. Yes, I saw the original in theaters. Yes, I loved all the references to Ghostbusters I and II. Yes, I am old as dirt. That being said, it was great seeing this movie on the big screen 37 years after the original debuted. The scenes with the original cast were amazing and welcome. I hope they continue to comeback in future projects. The new kids on the block were good. Mckenna Grace was amazing and was the heart and soul of the movie. Her performance carried the film and she will have to star in any sequel projects for this new legacy franchise to be successful. She captured Harold Ramis' quirkiness in her performance of Egon's granddaughter. Paul Rudd was also great in the film. My faith in reviving 80's properties has been restored. Thank you Jason Reitman for the passion and love shown to your father's original vision and making it your own. The homage to Harold Ramis was touching and heartwarming. Support this film. Can't wait to see another chapter of this story.
