Let me start with what’s good about this game. First they added cool weapons and More unique ways to kill your enemies such as shooting people with a CD gun or electrocuting them with an emp gun you can also hop into a tank and mow down your enemies like their nothing. You can craft different bullets and modifications to your gun such as poison bullets or fire bullets. Second the map is absolutely huge with many treasure hunts where you can do puzzles, yarns stories where you can recruit bandido leaders and do operation. Now let’s start with what’s bad with the game. First of all they removed so many great elements from past successful farcry games such as melee combat in farcy 5 you could bash people on the head with pipes and shovels which was so fun but they removed it. Second they removed the skill tree but have a leveling system that is completely useless because it doesn’t reward you anything. Three Some of the things enrage me so much it makes me wonder what the hell was going through the adult minds of the developers while creating this. Once you finish the story mode you can use a feature called “insurgency” where every week (in real time) a leader will rise in a specific region. So what’s the problem you ask? They make the enemies THREE times stronger in that region and then say you have to rank up to defeat them. So just rank up?? Well the thing is YOU CANT the max rank or level is 20 and the requirement is 22 Even if you manage to defeat the insurgency the region will stay permanently buffed up. Four THERE ARE NO BOSSFIGHTS!!! The only thing you can slightly count as a boss fight is a mission where you takedown a dude in a helicopter which isn’t fun. There are many other things to say about this game but to sum it up this game is an extreme disappointment to any far-cry fan and it deserves all the hate it gets. I really hope they get back on track in the future but for now I’m disappointed.
