This movie was excellent! I really liked Dune 1, but they absolutely nailed it with Dune 2. I cannot wait for Dune 3. If you like SciFi with a good storyline, lots of explosions, plenty of violence, space ships, eye-popping special effects, and BIG WORMS, 😂 buy this movie! Denis Villanueve blasted it out of the park with this film. My Ranked Top SciFi/Fantasy Films of All Time? 1. Star Wars 2. Lord of the Rings 3. The Dune Trilogy (if they don't screw up Part 3). Yes, it's THAT good! DUNE 3 💪💪💪 CAN'T WAIT!

It's just OK. I didn't see what all the uproar is about. There are reviews saying "THIS IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER MADE!!" so I guess my expectations were too high maybe? It is definitely NOT the best movie ever made. It's a decent action flick. But it is also SOOO over the top that to me, it's just unbelievable. These events portrayed in the film are so far fetched that you're thinking "yeah right, that couldn't/wouldn't happen". Movies & trilogies like Star Wars, The Godfather, LOTR, Goodfellas, Braveheart, the acting & story is so superb that you're so immersed in the movie that it sort of becomes believable (or at least you don't think to yourself "yeah right, no way, never happen" while you are watching it). So my opinion is this movie is nowhere near the level of any of the aforementioned movies. It's a decent action flick that keeps your attention, but just barely.

Mel Brooks is a genius & an American treasure. Unfortunately, HOTW2 is just bland. Very bland. Every once in a while you'll chuckle, but it's just not like Mel's older works. I knew going in that it wouldn't be, but I was sure hoping it would be. It's just very, very bad. I find it hard to believe that Mel really had much to do with this beside being the narrator.
