I had loved the show but not now, I cannot understand why any contestants would wish to take part currently....recently most people are working on these houses for nothing or almost that...its a strain on their lives, their families and their jobs..madness.. yes a positive is they learn so much, but that surely is dwarfed by the exhaustion and stress..The only people making money is the presenter..I am not a fan ..yes he's good as that but safely cosseted in his salaried position he has nothing to loose..I do believe that each day in this current market the contestants should be paid at least 10 to 15 thousand at the end of each house..At the end of each day I feel angry at the presenters and producers, all this work for nothing or very little for the sake of a show..Either cut the show till markets get better or rework the terms of partaking.. I can no longer watch its a rip off people trying to get a deposit for a home..show business appalling.
