Take it from someone who has engaged in more Star Wars content than the average Joe complaining about this show being "woke", this show is off to a fantastic start and anyone who is on the fence should leap over it and watch it! The review bombing should not at all be taken seriously and is charged by a bigoted agenda, and this has been unfortunately seen with prior projects ranging from the Obi Wan series to Ahsoka. The representation is diverse and rightfully so, as people are innately different. SPOILERS: It is a part of the high republic era of Star Wars Canon, however takes place at the half way point between the publishing initiative's first phase and the prequel trilogy. It is truly a mix of both THR and the prequels, and is a visual and choreographic masterpiece. It is not without its easter eggs, with the inclusion of THR's Jedi Vector, and the mention of the Barash Vow which originated in the 2017 Darth Vader comics and is given an origin story in THR. The plot is engaging and leaves the viewer with many questions, and the acting is superb, with a particular shine from Squid Game's Lee Jung-Jae! I absolutely cannot wait to see how this develops, another pay-off by lucasfilm!
