By far the worst installment in the franchise. Was a huge fan of the 2013 reboot. This one however, the actors and actresses seem like they have never acted before. The corny one liners are actually meant to be taken seriously…..which is just sad to think about. There is absolutely 0 character depth to anyone on screen. The shamble of any backstory is quickly lost. If you’re going in just for the gore and blood then you’ll enjoy this movie. Much on par with the recent horror movies Smile, Barbarian, ect. Hollywood really is struggling to put out anything worthy of the money to buy a movie ticket, which is the only reason I say through Evil Dead Rise.
