Wonderful book! I bought it for my nephew, who loves it! Overall, I expected a pretty cool book about music and rock, but I didn't expect it to be a beginning music theory book. As a musician, I love that David was able to make an entertaining book that teaches the basics of music theory (and rock music history) in a very accessible way for kids so they don't even realize they are learning. All of this in addition to the fact that it's just a fun story with amazing illustrations as well! I highly recommend this to any child who even mildly has an interest in music! I definitely plan to get this for all of the children in my family!
