Haven’t read the books. Not that it matters as my husband says this is nothing like them. Trillion dollar production value and no story. No character development. Lots of grandiose ideological rants that happen completely unprovoked. It feels like it was written by a teenager who is unwittingly ripping off his favorite shows in a collection of jumbled together scenes that barely attempt to form some sort of interesting or meaningful narrative.
