Horrible movie to watch. After a half hour, took out the trash and went to bed to read on Kindle for a while. You'd think that after his family life in Cincinnati that JD Vance would be a champion for curtailing drug use and availability.

I work as a hospital nurse. New Amsterdam is not about how a real hospital is run. (Doctors once again perform nursing duties, for example. Don’t recall seeing a nurse yet....And many of the doctors seem to have a lot of free time on their hands.) But suspend your belief though. The show follows characters and how they interact. It is good drama with excellent acting, directing, and storylines.

So many things unexplained, which makes it easier for the director, producers and writers. The ugly guy in the red hoodie…is he the Devil? Is this Armageddon? At the ending the star goes walking off to Canada with his son after blowing up the red hoodie guy and tower emitting the cell signal. But then shows him in the zombie crowd with the red hoodie guy alive and tower intact. Is he just dreaming that he’s walking to Canada. And what are these zombies eating so as not to waste away (An issue always ignored in zombie movies because after a short while there aren’t many uninfected people left.). The idea of cell phones making people into zombies is interesting but there are just too many convenient loose ends. Not a satisfying movie.
