BRAT is an instant classic in the history of pop music, and Brat and It’s Completely Different… is the best companion album I can ever recall. Great respect to Charli for not feeling the need to cater to capitalize on her current popularity by playing it safe, and instead created her deepest, most experimental, emotional, moody and personal art to date. And, seriously, who could assemble such a diverse group of artists on one project? She’s a genius and this recognition was long overdue.
