Better than Sonic 4, worse than Sonic Mania. There are some really bad Super glitches and bugs in this game still. The idea to try and prevent you from using the Super ability at points simply for very small cutscenes is just an unfair mechanic. You unlocked it so you should be able to use it however you please as long as you have fit the requirements. The music and graphics are good for the most part but the gameplay and clipping through bosses (specifically in Trip's Story) are things that should have been sorted in beta testing surely. Speaking of Trip's Story, let's just have really annoying enemy placements and make the bosses a bit more difficult is pretty much Trip's Story. A nice challenge but the gameplay bugs makes certain parts really not enjoyable to play. Press Factory Act 1 is by far the dumbest gimmick in the game. Altogether it's a decent game. Not worth its full price but it's reasonable on a deal. It wouldn't be something I would replay though. It's decent but not good.
