I’ve never read the book, but I seen this movie advertising on Netflix so I decided to watch this without knowing the context. I absolutely loved it. I felt the heartbreak from Fredericks eyes, and I felt the sense of relief he felt when he finally had Anne back. I felt it all. It’s a great movie, if the smallest things can make you feel exactly how they should be feeling.
