I think the show is great. Maybe not perfect, but its certainly the most enjoyment I've gotten out of Star Wars since the last season of The Mandalorian. But I can't help but to address the hundreds of disgruntled fans that seem to hate everything made under the property since it was bought by Disney in 2012. The fans that rally under promotional posts on social media to whine. The fans that view the hiring of non-white actors in lead roles as pushing an agenda. The fans that genuinely believe that George Lucas's Star Wars films weren't political.
For some reason, there's a very vocal minority of the fanbase that overindulges in their own nostalgia and views everything new as a personal attack on their childhood.
At some point, it should be understood that these people aren't fans. They're man-children with too much free time and too little self-respect.
