Another Way School Administrator

The young actors in this film are really quite remarkable. Chang'an Youth is well worth watching on many, many levels. I am learning really neat things about China in subtle ways that are not yet easy for me to describe in words. As an American, I watched it in Chinese with subtitles. Hearing the language and the emotions expressed is vital. Humor, deep soul searching, working to find meaningful connections, attention to detail, making tough decisions that no one may agree with but are honest and stand in integrity ... This series is so much more than entertainment. What is expressed by these young, powerful actors calls to something higher in us all. I wish more American films could do this. Bravo to the young actors who seem to transform into Avatars expressing a depth, breadth, and wisdom far beyond their years and experiences in the 21st Century. Timeless. I shall miss this series though will watch sections again to learn more about what is being expressed. Keep up the good work!
