In my opinion, this is the most well written and gripping show I have ever watched, with equal parts brutality and sensitivity as you would expect in that time period. I have watched many, many television series over the last 30 years and I have never been inclined to watch anyone of them over again like I have this show. Sons of anarchy and game of thrones are close. I have now watched this series 4 times over. I know I need a life.
