Its a great movie with a good plot and cast that showed the needed emotions with their acting skills, why are some of the other reviews mistaking this for the 2020 mulan and rating it one star though?

8/10 I really enjoyed the movie ;u; The animation was really good and the story was pretty solid, there were no plot holes and moments that made you question why a character acted like they did. However I felt there were many times where i thought it was very similar to Tangled (2010), from mother gothel to the way the town looks, and many scenes. I also think they should have been more creative with character design, not just portraying chubby as their “ugly” versions. The lessons and messages it wanted to portray was still very admirable though, and came through at the end. Snow was a nice character, she was easy to sympathize with and understand. There’s also Merlin who basically carried it lol (I decided to watch because of him, no regrets). There were many times I was dying just because of how pretty he is, my standards are so low i have a massive crush on an animated pretty boy. I enjoyed it a lot and there were also many moments that made me so giddy and happy, it was just really nice.
