It's as if the director flipped through the first 1/5 of the book, ripped out the last 80%, threw it away and then wrote the movie.
On par with David Lynch's Dune movie, this needlessly sodomises a good story then castrates it, removing all possibility of creating a sequel. To say I was disappointed would be praise too high.
If this doesn't bankrupt Wingnut Films, I'll be surprised.
