This was the first Samantha Ford novel that I have read. I could hardly put the book down. There were twists & turns.in every chapter. I became so involved in the novel. .The characters were so real . Piet Joubert was such a typical South African policeman. The language, the scenery was so well written. I highly recommend this novel. I have read nearly every Wilbur Smith novel as well as many by Tony Park.
