Miguel Gonzalez

I love this movie because I know all the characters- white and brown. Mostly the brown. Growing up in South, South Texas I grew up with other little Texicans who were embarrassed that they had flour tortilla tacos instead of ham sandwiches. Kids who were bullied by some white kids and even a few white ( gabacho) adults. Like I said, I KNEW these guys! I am proud to say I even knew a few Richards. I cried several times during this movie - sadness, in hope, in happiness, and in gratitude. The Writers - “se aventaron “! Eva Longoria made me proud - she gets it. Miguel ( Mike ) Gonzalez
