What a tragically sad and beautiful film. Renee Zellweger mastered the mannerisms and tonal influx of a legend. Of course no one can sing like Ms. Garland, but I doubt you could find anyone else to turn out such an outstanding performance on film. I highly recommend this film but warn that it will reach directly into your heart with haunting pain.
