I am a huge Elin Hildebrand fan and was so excited when I learned of this adaptation for the screen.
The Perfect Couple was one of my top favorite books of hers. I am so sad to say the film adaptation is nothing like the book and I found that very disappointing. I understand the writers have to rewrite the book into a screenplay for the screen, but I hate that the underlying love story between Shooter and Celeste was (almost) completely written out. I also feel like the roles of Greer and Abby were rewritten to give the two bigger stars a larger role in the series.
Very disappointed. I do hope for more adaptations to the screen, but I hope they stay more on plot with the book for us readers.
