Outer Range is a “Yellow Stone” type of modern western. The difference ? Outer Range relies on supernatural (time travel) events, the minimal development of the characters, (that even stellar actors can’t overcome) distracting dialogues, and the blatant, odd choices and placement of music in an attempt to engage viewers…. Outer Range demonstrates relying on the sprinkling of unexpected, illogical events to move the story along is not enough.

Starts OK but midway your rooting for the aliens to kill the characters so the movie ends...
