Critics are just too political and too out of their depth for the themes of this film

I loved it, I was caught off guard by the insane twist that ties it all together, the action is reminiscent of old kung-fu movies while the story is so tense and interesting you'll be hooked until the end. The main antagonists reasoning and overall plan just makes the whole thing thought provoking, but my friend who watched with me saw it as something that ruins it instead of adding more to the character.
