Watched the movie with trepidation, expecting unbridled violence, blood and gory details as in Hollywood. Was relieved that the violence was touched very subtly and shot very skillfully. The whole focus was on the transformation of an adolescent girl and the events through her eyes, as she experienced them, literally viewed it partially from a slit in wooden door. Camera work, specifically the interplay of darkness, rays of light, streaming sunlight in the pantry and in the last scene, she stumbling towards the sky splashed with colourful dusk was superb touch. Phenomenal direction.
