Clearly upset fanboys are spamming the low ratings, so many reviews with the same exact words pasted. Please give this film a chance if you enjoy watching something thought provoking and artistic. This film is not for you if you came for a typical cookie cutter superhero film. So many of these reviews just don't get it, the genius of this film beyond their understanding.
I loved the film. Joker and Harley's toxic relationship has always fascinated me and this is the first time it has been done well. Although I did feel it was 2-3 songs too long and the ending should have been different. I didn't come to watch a straight adaption of the original Joker and Harley from the cartoons so the modern take on a strong female in Quinn against a weaker Arthur was very interesting to watch. The codependency was still there just a slightly different form. The real world rendition and application of mental illness and the lack of supporting infrastructure hit home. Phoenix's acting and singing blew me away once again like the first film.
