Excellent tv series. I can't wait to watch S2 which is FIIIIIIINALLY OUT!!!! This is masterful storytelling. Even thoe racism is still happen today, how it defines and exploits American racism in our country back then is absolute superb 👏🏼 💯. IF YOU HAVE NOT YET SEEN "THEM" 🚨🚨🚨🚨⚠️SPOILER⚠️🚨🚨🚨🚨 IN S1E1 in one scene when all the privileged white people was all gathered in the middle of the street directly in front of the black family's home all sitting in chairs and desk I believe if I remember correctly, as if they where all sitting ab to be entertained by watching a show or at an auction but obviously that was not the case they were sitting there because they "could" by stalking the black fam and staring straight through there windows unto there home. So for one I would like to think this was a little farfetched and hopefully giving the time period that this kind of sickness did not happen. And for two I say sickness because I am a white man and it sickens me to the Core to know how the Caucasian culture was back then and how they treated people that was not the same color of my skin. But to me that scene Alone says so much whether it's farfetched or a part of his real history it doesn't matter I think it's more in depth as it's stating that is exactly how white people were and how black people felt. To always be stared at and that white people could get away with anything even if it was the whole neighborhood gathered in front of your house sitting in chairs with tables like they were in the classroom or about to play Bingo. Because they knew police would not come nor do anything that is how they perceived their self in this show and how the black family felt I believe one of the best parts was right after that or it might have been right before that it's been awhile since I seen it so bear with me but the wife the black woman which I may add than a wonderful performance so good she deserves every Academy Award in Oscar there could be handed out but she come outside waving a gun and I cannot quote what she said cuz I don't remember but I would like to think she said keep on you white crackers because if you keep F'n with my family I will paint the front of ur homes red 🩸🔫 lol. Is it a wrong thing for me to be white and through the entire season hoping this black family kills every white person on the Block LOL. Thats what makes a great show is when you can either relate or have a emotional, spiritual , and/or mental, connection and attachment to it. I've always wanted to do a little acting myself and if not acting I absolutely have a passion for editing and producing even if it is just with my phone. It would be a dream come true to be a executive producer and or producer to an actual movie or show. Because I also have that type of creativity and a creative mind. To Think about stuff that nobody else usually thinks about and comes up with. They say that kind of stuff, that kind of unique mind is what makes a great Detective, a great lawyer, or one hell of a Hollywood 🎬 movie writer.
