Excellent film. Most likely ignored because - like the film Tar - it did not show certain aspects of the WOKE collective thought culture in a favorable light. An excellent screenplay! But again - It belittled the reliability and the world of social media in an age of information overload. The academy of motion pictures was not letting this one get nominations! A 3 and a half star film by 1971 standards, but that decade produced Network. That film today would never see the light of day. Everyone’s feelings would be hurt.

Film would never be produced and released today. Great story, great topic. But like the film Tar, some of the bad guys were people of color, women, and ambiguously gay people. An adult film that requires your attention. It would be canceled before production because all the bad guys aren’t white heterosexual males. Not Barbie.
