Nice friendly crowd let down by inadequate facilities and under trained staff. Very long queues for toilets, even the very expensive paid ones. Festival staff inconsistent in abilities and knowledge of English. Some fantastic performances on the crowded main stage area but other stages were mainly cover bands you can see anywhere cheaply. Thankfully weather was fab, a mud bath would have been dire because there was next to no cover near the main stage. Getting alternative accommodation with a tent fail 😱 It’s on an island making the whole thing costly and tricky with ferry costs etc. think carefully before you buy a ticket and weigh up the likely add on costs & consequences of rain! There is very limited accommodation on the Isle of Wight.
