It's dark, so dark, and so, so compelling. Everytime there is a chance to breath, some kind of light to shine in the dismal life of these characters it all goes straight to hell. It's horror, but not like blood and guts although there is a great seasoning of that. Mostly it is just about the making of Norman Bates and how easily it would be in his place to end up Psycho. Good actors. Great Actors! Wonderful writers.
