The storyline is weak and the themes are disturbing. SPOILER ALERT!!! Supe teen committing suicide. Mentally ill schizophrenic Supe. Supes who get their powers from self harm (cutting, gorging, and bulimia). Smh. Way to many unnecessary graphic sex scenes. The scene where Maria was "hypnotized" and came to with a naked guy standing over her was like a date drug rape scene. Then the exploding male genital and the guy having sex with every hole he found. Huh? I am okay with Jordan Li's gender fluidity transformations but what does it have to do with their superpower? They explained everyone elses, for lack of a better word, "quirk". What's the connection with Jordans power? And the plot? Every character has mommy daddy issues and the random gore (like the muppet/puppet scene) and sex scenes have the storyline all over the place. At episode four, now that they've "forgotten" I feel like I'm back at square one. Anyway. Even though I consider myself liberal and awake to world issues, I am NOT okay with this show. I'm done.
