I found this novel based mostly on the authors conjecture. Very little of the material is substantive. Certainly the Princess had nothing at all to do with its writing and neither did any of the characters who are portrayed therein. It is more fiction than biography.

It disturbs me that this man who was denied a childhood, who was pushed out into the world to fend for himself when he was 7, who has had almost no education and no emotional nurturing is heralded as a genius. He is one dimensional. His obsession with ‘perfection’ is disturbing. A psychologist would have a field day.
