I saw it and I was bored and confused in some parts. Our theatre was packed - I kept praying it would end. Way too long and story way boring to me

Hated it- I just left from seeing the movie. I was hoping it would be like the old versions but better imagery, dancing, and presentation. I felt it was boring and lacked the magic like the older ones had. I wanted more and especially more Oompah Loompah acting and performances. Loved Hugh but it couldn’t save it. Why a Musical? Way too much and no real story. The three men competing against Wonka- that storyline was horrible. It just failed. For me, it was boring and a lot of singing but not enough colorful presentation of the chocolates and magic- I like the old story with Charlie. The original was a Classic and they should have stayed there and embellished. The old story- Charlie was poor and had a chance to compete against the other children. No competition this time; more of focusing on young Wonka and his lack of money and making friends with some outsiders. This movie focused more on Wonka as a young man and Momma’s Presence or Spirit influencing him with the chocolate 🍫. For me, this movie was flat. Made me tired and sad I paid $15 at Theatre- why!? Movie theatre was empty. It was three people on a Friday night.

I love horror movies 🍿 but this was blahhhh. I went to see it last Friday and it was packed. I went to see it at 10:30p. I like anything that’s scary. But it was times in the movies, where it lacked thrill. The main character’s role was a little exaggerated. Substance was lacking and it was stretching in some parts. I wanted to see more scare- more about the kids and things that happened there. Maybe a town scare 😱 like with Michael Meyers. The puppet characters wasn’t as scary as I thought also. They reminded me of the old Chucky Cheese characters so I was excited- it had my attention. I wish it would have been more exciting and more scary. It was very predictable in some parts. The man that took kids- we needed more about his background to give it an edge. Pull the movie watcher in. I had to add -the main character lost his brother at a young age, sister came in when- gif eyes details about his issues after his brother is kidnapped. They look like they had a big age difference. Parents keep appearing in and out of his mind- hated that part. Got boring! In the middle of the movie- I took a lil nap. Would wake up and be right back- too easy. I like nostalgics but it has to connect. Overall, I would watch it online in the future with my Family for fun but for me - I needed more to call this Scary. No Spielberg, Craven, or Zombie movie. Everyone go see it if you like. I have been watching horror movies since the 80s. #Big Fan
