Brilliant! Communism V. Capitalism. Any idea can be used for good or evil, it depends on the individual. Gorbachev’s characters line “communism failed because some got greedy.” was interesting. It reminds me of Greenspan telling Charlie Rose after the housing bubble burst “good luck regulating greed out of the system” The American character is overly optimistic but that is the power of belief and is a lovely american attribute . I’m reminded of the scripture “God uses the foolish to confound the (wise).” The battle between the billionaire’s son and the “politician” is interesting. I felt sorry for “the politician” when he explains to the billionaires son how he had to use his mind to survive after his father and mother worked 18 hours a day as share croppers on a government farm. Most disturbing is the fear from the Tetris author when his family is threatened and after the danger is gone he lets out a gasps of relief that ran a chill down my back as a father. i flashed back to my youth practicing duck & cover drills for a nuclear attack duckling under our little desk head down facing away from the flash and not really understanding what it all meant as a kindergartener. Then the wall fell. I remember having my picture taken with a concrete wall section that was on display at the Seattle science center soon after the collapse of the USSR we were so hopeful for the future it felt like we won the Cold War and the future was hopeful
