I was hoping this book to be something more. Same old story, alienated kids (super smart and nihilistic of course), predictable relationships, empty life of LA. But there is something else, profound shalowness and lack of any spiritual engagement, which makes it soul destroying read. Shalom!

Long, boring, the plot is terrible, too much talking nonsense. My kids were borded half way through as the dialogues were super fast, they did not understand much. Another deceptive animated movie for adults (sic!). Plus all the 'right' message: eat junk food, watch TV, and be happy the American way. I feel guilty for taking my kinds through this.
