Good acting by Glen Close, the rest are forgettable. The frequent flashbacks were not well done. Hard to follow. Missing from the film was the influence of his military stint. I thought that was a pivotal part of his story. Overall disappointed. Like many reviewers I know people like Amy and is such a train wreck. This boy was so lucky that his mamaw had the clarity to get him out of that destructive environment.
