I'd like to mention that a lot of people have been complaining about the ending, calling it rushed and finding it disappointing that Rana and Adeel don't end up together but imo the ending was perfect. Adeel did change for good but how can one so easily forgive and forget the humiliation and mental harassment Rana went through. She was married at gunpoint not to forget. At no point did Adeel went soft on her so how could he expect Rana to be affectionate. But because in the end Adeel did change so the ending was left open to predictions. We know that they were still legally married, just living separate lives while Adeel awaited her return. One can imagine that Rana would come back to him in the future but they needn't show it because it's understandable that Rana took her time to forgive Adeel and that's the way it should be given the history of their relationship.
