It was a great start and I was instantly wrapped up in his characters and happenings, but his story, although Im sure if I wanted to thoroughly ponder all of his philosophical ramblings, I would be amused, but as a novel with a few inner stories that are in need of resolution, it was frustrating to get to the last ten pages or so and realize that nothing would be resolved. I felt cheated of the time I used to get through this.
