Super boring. Was expecting explanation how the black holes work, what are the chances it’s a portal to other worlds. Nowadays watching sci fi movies can teach you more. Here we have 90 mins of random conversations, extensive formulas on the blackboard, excitement, anticipation, celebration, glasses, walking somewhere, walking through the door, birds chirping… just to see a picture in the end ))))) 90 mins just to see a picture. Could have explained the meaning of the colors on the picture at least. Waste of time, really. I guess an article would be more informative. Netflix you can do better.

Half way through the movie you still have no clue what’s it all about. Then you realize you are watching a movie about apocalypse. Reminded “Melancholia” but poorly executed. Melancholy one of the top movies for me in this genre because I could see how desperate main character felt about her last day before catastrophe, her regrets, I was crying. But in Silent Night I didn’t feel sorry for any of them, even the “smart” boy was annoying with his constant swearing. Probably director was hinting at corona situation and governments forcing us to take the vaccine. Could be. But anyways movie turned out to be very basic.
