I really wanted to like this show, but I just cannot condone the constant pedophelia. What bothers me isn’t that the mc is a pedophile (at least that isn’t my main issue) since I understand that the whole point is that he gets better. My issue is that when female characters are full on sexually assaulted, there are no consequences and the women/female CHILDREN don’t even seem that bothered by it. This is sending a really bad message that if you assault a women she won’t mind and it’s no big deal, when in reality, sexual assault can have very serious and long lasting psychological impacts, ESPECIALLY when it happens to children. I think a key difference between the kind of assault in this show compared to others I’ve seen is that often in other shows female characters are assaulted accidentally, so they’re embarrassed but not quite so upset. But here the assault is entirely intentional and the women don’t seem to mind at all - this is not a good message and I cannot condone this show!
