I had looked forward to seeing this program as a long standing fan of Agatha Christie but it was so poor that I could not even get through the first episode. While many recent Agatha Christie dramatisations have strayed well away from the original work there have been times when the changes at least gave a surprise however this production went too far by inserting race issues which gave nothing to improve the storyline and were quite unnecessary. After giving up on this I went to my DVD collection and instead watched a Joan Hickson Miss Marple which was far superior. Perhaps the BBC should do the same and learn how to do this type of drama again.
