This book was such an eye opener. It should honestly be part of school curriculum. Broke my heart, because it put into perspective how little I knew about the Sudanese people that moved to my hometown when I was in high school, and how little effort a lot of the community made to assist/support their transition to Australian life. Truly inspiring, well written, honest, I will be telling everyone in my family and friendship circle to read it.
