Screenplay and opulance are subtle and optimal... Though there is a lot of cinematic liberties explicitly altering the original narrative, but executed solely to keep the runtime agreeable and storyline nearly acceptable too... Performance wise its aishwary as nandini, vikram as aditha who just blow away the others in just one sequence on the screen in tandem, even though every one has their own limited but meaningful arcs... ARR is in your ears all the way through, plesently and vigorously as needed... All hail kaiser Mani Ratnam for his vision and stubbornness in bringing it on screen with the real pastel of canvas that is precisely miniscule in vibrance... The winner is the craft of film making...
