Epic in scale but doesn't focus and stick to a particular storyline of either Napoleon's love for Josephine or his desire to rule Europe. Costumes, filmography, battle scenes are brilliantly shot, and I am sure will get nominated for Oscars.

Sadly only a handful of the 66 teams got any airtime or any mention. Whilst I appreciate that its TV and they will always look for an angle e.g. father and son team, ex-military etc.... I think its a tad disrespectful to the other participants who took part and finished this mammoth course.
