Boring as all hell and I love period pieces. Reminded me why I hated Austen, nothing clever about it, no interesting/funny/thoughtful modern twist. High school level acting, actual milquetoast. We all couldn't stand it and 50 minutes in voted to turn it off. The sets and costumes were lovely and it was artfully shot, so if you are into that, turn off the sound. Perhaps you stand a chance of enjoying it for a while, although TBH there are plenty of other options available to feast your eyes on.
