The film does a great job of showing journalistic detachment. Also, it makes a powerful statement by not giving any backstory of how the war starts or why it continues. It shows how people just come to accept almost anything as normal when it actually isn't. All we know is that the war has obviously been going on for awhile because there is a lot of destruction. We also know that California and Texas have joined together. This seems like an odd combo at first, but having lived in California there are large parts of the state that are a lot more aligned with Texas than you might think.

Game: 9/10 Server/login system: 3/10 The game is as fun as ever. What isn't fun is that, even if you play alone, you're forced to login to a server and all that entails such as random disconnects, queues, etc. If the game had an offline mode where I could just play by myself it would easily be a 10.

The graphics look amazing and the game is a lot of mindless fun with minimal story. It's not going to be a game that, when it's over, makes you think "wow, that was an experience" but if you like killing zombies with a bunch of weapons, it's fun for what it is I wish the game had a bit more tutorial info on the alternative ways you can kill the zombies. For example, it was easy enough to figure out that throwing a battery in the water electrocutes them, but have been finding lots of gasoline cans all over with no idea how to ignite it.
