Really bad. Even more boring than part 1. For example, approximately 15 minutes of the movie is in slo-mo (other parts too, it's the director style, he's trying to Bruckenheimer) of them harvesting wheat! Why he thought wheat harvesting was so riveting and sci-fi is beyond me.

I'm a grown adult so my perspective may be different from other younger reviewers. This series is really good! I don't remember a whole lot about ATLA but I do remember just enough to understand the tie-ins to this series. Maybe because I haven't read the books, and this was originally aired on Nikelodeon(sp?) it would appear this is geared towards young children. There are episodes where characters die violently. It's definitely not a series for young viewers but it is for late teens and adults. As long as you don't get lost in the details between the two series, you'll really enjoy this one!
